Author has great vocabulary and extensive knowledge of subject area but does not have chapter outlines or key definitions. I had to purchase kindle version just to find vocabulary words and key examination concepts.

I needed a replacement for this book, which I owned years ago but was damaged in an overseas move. I found a replacement on Amazon and ordered it. The book came as described. Its condition was as I expected. The price I paid was reasonable. I am satisfied with this transaction.
This book is not well edited in the sense that it (a) has many errors throughout, and (b) does not flow well and discusses topics without introducing them. It also lacks some substantial and basic topics of international law generally included in basic texts. Additionally, this book is now outdated, though it was republished in 2012, it does not include many important cases from the 2000s, that the nutshell and E&Es do (and most likely any class will). Overall, it will do for a backup to a textbook and class, if the reader is well aware of what is missing, but would not suffice as an overview for any other purpose.
